The Carnival of Job Hunting

job+hunting.gif Welcome to the Carnival of Job Hunting. For regulars you'll note that this is the second carnival of the day and the third in the last two weeks. What can I say, I like hosting carnivals. Of course it's good exposure, it's good for traffic and and increases the number of links. But there are other benefits. I learn a lot more than I expected about interesting topics, I learn about a number of good blogs that I should be reading (the list keeps on growing) and I pick up a number of good ideas for future posts of my own. That's a lit of benefit for so little time and effort invested.

Employment

Marcus Markou presents Pubs Profile posted at BOB - Business Opportunities Blog, saying, "Pubs are central to British life. BOB looks at the pros and cons of buying one."

Chuck Russell presents GM Auto Workers Deadline posted at buyanauto.

Katie presents Are you climbing to the top when there is no top? posted at Aridni.

David Lorenzo presents Contunuous Improvement posted at The Career Intensity Blog.

Job Hunting

David Maister presents How to Keep Your Resolve posted at David Maister's Passion, People and Principles.

claire presents Job search: When to ask for salary information posted at Tired but Happy, saying, "I just learned about this Carnival from My Money Forest's site. I just went through a major job search--wish I had known about this Carnival before!

Starling David Hunter presents Adverse Selection posted at The Business of America is Business.

Work

David Lorenzo presents Growth is a Natural Process posted at The Career Intensity Blog.

That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of festival of job hunting using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.
